Open Firefox.
From the menu bar, click History.
Click Clear Recent History.
Click the drop-down arrow for Time range to clear, and select the appropriate option.
Make sure Cookies and Cache are selected.
Click Clear Now.
Exit and re-launch the browser.
Safari 8:
Open Safari.
Click on Safari in the toolbar.
From the drop-down menu, select Clear History and Website Data.
Choose the desired time range.
Click Clear History.
Exit and re-launch the browser.
Safari 7 and below for Macintosh OS X:
Open Safari.
Click on Safari in the toolbar.
From the drop-down menu, select Reset Safari.
Choose what history and other elements to clear.
Click the Reset button.
Exit and re-launch the browser.
Google Chrome:
Open Google Chrome.
Click on the Customize and control Google Chrome symbol (three horizontal lines) to the right of the address bar.
From the drop-down menu, click History.
Under History, click Clear browsing data.
Click Clear data.
Exit and re-launch the browser.
Microsoft Edge:
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click the Hub icon then the History icon.
Select Clear History.
Check the boxes for Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data, Cached data and files, and Download history.
Select Clear.

Click Clear Now.

Click OK to exit the Options window.

Exit and re-launch the browser.
Quit and reopen Firefox.
Safari 17
Open Safari.
Click on History in the Menu Bar.
Click Clear History… and a new window will open.
Click All History in the dropdown box and then select Clear History.
Quit and reopen Safari.
Google Chrome
Open Google Chrome.
At the top right, click More (three vertical dots).
Click Clear browsing data.
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
Quit and reopen Google Chrome.
Microsoft Edge
Open Microsoft Edge.
Select Settings and more (three horizontal dots) in the upper right corner of the browser window.
Select Settings then Privacy, search, and services.
Under Clear browsing data, select Clear browsing data now.
Select Choose what to clear.
Under Time range, choose a time range from the list.
Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Clear now.
Quit and reopen Microsoft Edge.
