Per Faculty Senate, SFI reports are not to be made available until after final grades have been locked in STAR. Summary reports will not be available in the SFI system until that date. Below is the time line for different survey processes that determine availability.

Report availability

  • Basic Process: In general, the grades lock in STAR at 12 noon on the Monday after Finals Week. SFI reports will be released later that afternoon. Exceptions to this basic process are listed below.

  • Courses that end by mid-term: Instructors for courses that end after the first 5 weeks of the semester or after the first 8 weeks are required to submit final course grades at the end of those courses. These grades are locked in STAR on the Monday after mid-term grades are due. SFI summary reports will be released to instructors and department chairs by the end of the next day. The remaining SFI reports will be generated at the end of the semester as part of the basic process.

  • College of Law Courses: The College of Law SFI reports are released later than those for other WVU courses. Typically the SFI reports for College of Law are published and released to faculty near the end of the second week of class in the next semester.
