The search functionality for the IRB Protocol module of WVU+kc has three two search options to help researchers find protocols: simple search, advanced search and admin search.
If you see an error message when you try to search using the new searching options, clear your cache or restart your browser to clear the message.

The simple search allows you to enter protocol numbers, titles, and investigators (including aggregators) as search terms. Enter part of your title, a portion of your protocol number, or the last name of the Principal Investigator to find your protocol.
Access the IRB Protocol Search page by clicking the Search Protocols option from the IRB menu on the Kuali dashboard home page.
In the Search Terms field, type one of the following:
a protocol number
name of a personnel member on the protocol
title of the protocol
Click Search. A list of protocols that match your search terms will appear below the search box.
For any protocol, click Edit to make changes, click Copy to start a new protocol based on this one, or click View to open the protocol and see the contents.
Advanced search:
The advanced search option allows for additional search criteria to be entered such as protocol type, status or creation date.

Enter a Protocol Number or Title, or select an option in one of the other search fields such as the Type, Status, Lead Unit, PI, or relevant dates.
Click Search. A list of protocols that match your search terms will appear below the search box.

Admin Search
The admin search allows search criteria for many different details associated with a protocol such as submission, approval, or expiration dates.
Access the IRB Protocol Search page by clicking the Search Protocols option from the IRB menu on the Kuali dashboard home page.
Click the Admin Search tab at the top of the page.
Enter your search parameters, such as the Protocol number, Expiration Date, Last Approval Date, or any other details as desired.
Click Search. A list of protocols that match your search terms will appear below the search box.
For any protocol, click Edit to make changes, click Copy to start a new protocol based on this one, or click View to open the protocol and see the contents.
