The eCampus course request system or eRS is a faculty system and is used for the following items:

Request System (eRS) uses Salesforce to allow faculty and staff to make these requests:

  • Request content from a different instructor's course. The instructor or department chair who owns the content will need to send approval by email to eCampus for you to use their course content. The eRS request will not be completed until we receive the approval.

  • Requesting a new Development Shell

  • Requesting a new Collaborate Session

  • Enrolling a TA in your course

  • Enrolling a student making up an incomplete as an Auditor in your course

Who can use eRS

The type of users who may access eRS include:

  • Instructors

  • TLC (Teaching and Learning Commons) staff

  • POC (Point of Contact)

  • TA (Teaching Assistant)

How to access eRS

Go to ers.wvu.edu and log in using your Login credentials OR log in to eCampus, choose Tools from the Navigation bar, and then choose eCampus Request System.

If you are requesting to have an Instructor or Student enrolled into a STAR credit course, please go through STAR/Banner since eCampus Support cannot directly enroll users into these roles for STAR credit courses.

How to use eRS

The homepage provides a streamlined process to create requests, view requests or get help with the eRS system.

Create requests

Log into eRS, click Create Request, then select the type of request you want to submit:

  • Content

  • Enrollment

  • New Development Course

  • New Instructional Tool

  • Non Credit Course

You will be prompted for any required information needed to complete your request.

View requests

The View Requests page lists all requests made by a user. Instructors and TLC staff will see requests under My Open Requests and My Closed Requests tab.

POCs who initiate requests on behalf of instructors or other entities will see requests under POC Open Requests and POC Closed Requests tab.
