Revise the Draft Agreement

The agreement owner may need to update the agreement document at any time during the negotiation process. In this guide, you will revise the agreement document and then upload the latest version to the system.

  1. Log in to the system as the agreement owner and on the agreement workspace.

  2. At the top of the agreement workspace, click the agreement Word document link to open the document.

  3. Save the agreement to your computer. You can open the agreement and then save it or click one of the Save options.

  4. Open the saved agreement if it is not open already.

  5. Change something in the Word document and then save it again. Close the document and return to the Agreements system.

  6. On the agreement workspace, click the Revise Agreement activity (near the bottom of the list of activities).

  7. Click Choose File, and then navigate to and select the updated agreement. Click Open.

  8. In the Revise Agreement window, leave the version number as is. The system automatically incremented it. Click OK.

  9. At the top of the Agreement workspace, click the ellipsis next to the agreement Word document link. Click View History. Click OK when done.

  10. Confirm you met the success criteria below:

  • At the top of the workspace, the agreement Word document link shows the new version number in parentheses.

  • The History tab shows the Agreement Revised activity and includes a link to the updated agreement.

  • The agreement is still in the Internal Review state.
