Survey Showing Completed in SEI

Clicking on the Finalize button will cause the Subject View Management task to be marked as Completed. This may cause confusion while you have surveys open to your students.

Problem

The survey for one of your courses is marked as Completed, but only a few students have completed and submitted the survey.

Solution

When the Subject View Management task is marked as Completed, that just means that you clicked on the Finalize button. It does not close the survey to the students nor does it indicate that all responses have been received. Instead, it serves as a visual reminder that you have completed that task, like a check-mark on a to-do list. 

If you complete all your SEI tasks early in the semester after the first reminder, you will stop getting email reminders from the system.
