Log into WVU+kc (Kuali Coeus)

WVU+kc (Kuali Coeus) is a web-based research administration application that is used by West Virginia University for research compliance, administration of externally funded awards, and electronic funding notifications. The system is under continuing development to incorporate more research-related functionality.

How to log in: 

1. Go to kc.wvu.edu/kc/portal.do.

2. Select the appropriate organization button. 

3. Enter your login credentials. 

Can't log in? 

WVU employees and students:

• Make sure you are entering your Login credentials correctly. If you have not claimed your Login account or if you need to reset your Login password, go to login.wvu.edu.

• If you are not already, use Firefox or Chrome. For more information on recommended browsers, view our Recommended Browsers for WVU+kc article.

• If your browser stores your login information and recently changed your password, please delete your cookies and cache. For help, view our Delete Browser Cache Once article.

• If you are using Firefox and you receive a blank page within WVU+kc, view our WVU+kc Blank Page Received article.

• If you are accessing WVU+kc from a saved bookmark, go to kc.wvu.edu/kc/portal.do, sign in, and update your bookmark to avoid future login issues.

• If you are still unable to log into WVU+kc, submit an ITS request for assistance or call the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444.

Non-affiliated users: 

If you are not a WVU employee or student, someone must submit an ITS request for you so you can use WVU+kc. Once you receive a Login account, you will need to activate (claim) your Login account before you can log into WVU+kc.

If you received a special Login account, but cannot claim your account, call the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444.
