Add or Remove a Mobile Device in Okta
Follow these steps to manage your mobile devices for multi-factor authentication. If this is your first time setting up a multi-factor device, view the steps to Enroll in Okta Verify.
Add a mobile device
Download the Okta Verify app from the App Store or Google Play on the mobile device you want to use to authenticate. If you’re unable to download the app, view Okta Verify’s supported platforms to ensure your device supports the latest version.
Log into okta.wvu.edu (login.wvu.edu).
Select your name in the top-right corner then click My Settings.
Click Manage Security Settings.
Select Set up another next to Okta Verify.
Click Set up. This will automatically generate a QR code to finish set up on your phone or tablet.
Open the Okta Verify app on your device to scan the QR code and follow the prompts to complete setup.
Remove a mobile device
Log into okta.wvu.edu (login.wvu.edu).
Select your name in the top-right corner then click My Settings.
Click Manage Security Settings.
View the list of your devices under Okta Verify. Select Remove to remove them as a multi-factor option.
