Authenticate With an Okta Security Token

Go to any WVU system (e.g., portal.wvu.edu). Enter your WVU Login username and click Next.

• If the Security Key is not your default security method, click Verify with something else.
  Note: This option will update your default security method. You can choose this option anytime to change your default method.

• If you don’t have a default security method, you’ll be presented with a list of all multi-factor options.

Select Security Key or Biometric Authenticator from the multi-factor options.

Insert your token in the computer port or have the token out if it uses NFC to wirelessly authenticate.

Click Verify.

Select Security Key from the options and follow the instructions on your device.
