Authenticate With Okta Verify

Go to any WVU system (e.g., portal.wvu.edu). Enter your WVU Login username and click Next.
Note: If you don’t have a default security method, you’ll be presented with a list of all multi-factor options.

Select Enter a code or Get a push notification from the Okta Verify options.

• Enter a code: Open the Okta Verify app. Depending on your device, a six-digit code will display or you may need to tap the eye icon to reveal the code. Codes are regenerated every thirty seconds. Enter the code in the text box and click Verify.

• Get a push notification: A push notification will be sent to the device enrolled in Okta Verify. Select Yes, It’s Me on your device. If you don’t receive a push, check your device’s notification settings and make sure push notifications are enabled in the Okta Verify app.
