Document Cameras
Technology classrooms have standard or high definition document cameras installed. Cameras are located on top of the multimedia lectern.
Standard definition cameras
Adjust the unit as needed by gently pushing the blue-green tab away from you, then adjust the camera head so that it’s aiming directly down at the base.
Use the touch panel on the lectern to begin projecting from the document camera and adjust its settings.
Select Doc Cam to begin projecting from the document camera.
For classrooms with two or more projectors, select Display Left or Display Right to choose which screen to project the image.
Use the ZOOM controls on the touch panel or on the buttons on the camera’s head to adjust the size of the image on the screen.
The document camera should automatically focus on your document when the “Auto Focus” button has been pressed. But if needed, use the focus controls to make minor adjustments.
High definition cameras
Adjust the camera head if needed so that it is aiming directly downward onto the display area. The camera head can be moved vertically or horizontally to get a close-up view of the document or item being displayed.
