Use Mediasite to add links to existing presentations and collections to your eCampus course and create presentations for recording. For instructions, view Mediasite U's Recording Your Screen with Mediasite Desktop Recorder and Using Mediasite With Blackboard. How to Add Mediasite Presentations as Links in a Course 

  1. Log in to ecampus.wvu.edu

  2. Access the content area to which you want to add links to Mediasite content

  3. Hover over Build Content and click on Mediasite Content

  4. You will receive a notification asking you to Allow or Deny Mediasite integration. (One-time requirement)

  5. WVU Mediasite opens in a new tab.

  6. Under Add Existing Media select Presentation if the video has already been added to WVU Mediasite

    1. Click the Presentation Button

    2. Click the Add to <Course-name> drop-down list next to the presentation you want to add and click Presentation Link.

    3. Type in the collection search criteria.

Add a Video to My Mediasite

  1. Log in to ecampus.wvu.edu

  2. Access the content area to which you want to add links to Mediasite content

  3. Hover over Build Content and click on Mediasite Content

  4. You will receive a notification asking you to Allow or Deny Mediasite integration. (One-time requirement)

  5. WVU Mediasite opens in a new tab.

  6. Under Upload New Media, choose Upload New Video.

  7. Click Browse Files. When the File Upload dialog appears, select the media file you want.

  8. Enter the Name and optional description.

  9. Click Create Presentation.

  10. Once the file uploads, you will see an indicator that the upload is being processed or queued for processing.

  11. Once the media upload is processed, the presentation's status updates.
