Overview:
If your wireless connection continuously drops, there are few solutions you can try.
Problem:
Your connection to WVU's wireless network dropped and now you cannot reconnect.
Solution:
Make sure you're connecting to the WVU Encrypted wireless network.
Try restarting your computer.
Make sure your browser is not trying to reconnect using a dial-up connection or other server.
Check the Internet Support for WVU Residence Halls, Apartments, and Fraternity Houses article to see if you live in a building with access to WVU's wireless network.
Go through your Wireless network settings and make sure "Fast Reconnect" is NOT enabled.
If your computer has 2.4 GHz wireless capacity, then purchasing a wireless USB adapter may provide better connectivity. If you are unsure if your wireless is 2.4 GHz, stop by an ITS Service Center. They can also recommend a USB adapter.
