After the sponsor has reviewed the proposal and made a determination, the sponsor will communicate that determination either to the Pi principle investigator or sponsor programs. Below are the steps the Pi will take when the sponsor communicates a determination. The PI will receive the determination from the sponsor, and they must relate this information to sponsor programs so they can determine how to respond.
