Eligible students, faculty and staff on all WVU campuses will receive a link to a form via email to sign up for mandatory COVID-19 testing. This link will take you into STARREZ to schedule a test. Follow the instructions below to log into STARREZ and sign up for a COVID-19 test.

Eligibility
WVU students scheduled for an in-person class are required to register for and obtain a COVID-19 test.
WVU employees who are listed as hybrid or on-campus are required to register for and obtain a COVID-19 test.

Employees who are not sure about their designation can contact their HR partner. Remote WVU employees and off-campus Emeritus employees are not required to obtain a COVID-19 test. |
Scheduling a COVID-19 Test
Click the link provided in the email to access the STARREZ website.
Click Login.
Enter your WVU Login credentials and click Submit.
Authenticate with Duo two-factor authentication.
Click COVID-19 Testing. (If you are using a mobile browser, click the hamburger menu to see the link.)
Click Apply to begin the registration process.
Note: Students under age 18 will be asked to provide a parent/guardian proxy. Click ADD to enter a parent's first and last name and email address, then click Save & Continue. The parent will receive an email to authorize the test. Once the parent has authorized the test, the student can log in and continue the registration process (skip to step 9).
Read the HIPAA/FERPA authorization and enter your WVUID number in the signature field. Click Print This Page if you wish to print or save a copy, then click Save & Continue.
Read the Terms of Service - COVID-19 Testing Program and enter your WVUID number in the signature field. Click Print This Page if you wish to print or save a copy, then click Save & Continue.
Answer the questions on the Symptom Check screen by selecting answers from the dropdown boxes, then click Save & Continue.
Enter local contact information (phone number, email address, street, city and zipcode are required), then click Save & Continue.
All WVU students and employees on the WVU Beckley campus must choose a testing site. The testing site is chosen automatically for all employees on the WVU Morgantown campus.
Choose a date and time, then click a time slot in the calendar below.
Click YES to choose the time slot.
Click the Confirm Appointment button to complete the registration process.
A confirmation screen will pop up with your WVUID number and a barcode, as well as a map of the testing location. This will also be sent to your email.

Make sure you are using one of the latest two versions of the following browsers:

Apple Safari
Microsoft Edge (Chromium)
Note: Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge (legacy) and the Extended Support Release (ESR) version of Mozilla Firefox are NOT supported.
Make sure you have claimed your WVU Login account and are using the correct password. Information on claiming your WVU Login account, changing your password and setting up Duo two-factor authentication can be found at login.wvu.edu.
If you receive an error message indicating that you cannot log into STARREZ, contact the ITS Service Desk.
If you are a student under age 18 and your parent/guardian didn't receive the email to authorize the test, sign into STARREZ, click COVID-19 Testing, then click Continue to access your registration. Click Refresh to try again. If the parent/guardian still didn't receive the email, click Delete and add them again.

Rescheduling a Testing Appointment

Click the link provided in the email to access the STARREZ website.
Click Login.
Enter your WVU Login credentials and click Submit.

Click COVID-19 Testing.
Click Continue to to access your registration (if you've finished registering, you should be brought to the Confirmation screen).
Click the CANCEL APPOINTMENT link. This will cancel your testing appointment and return you to the Schedule Appointment page.
Choose another time slot and follow the steps above to confirm.
