Installation troubleshooting

...

  • Delete the following folder(s) and try installing again:
    c:\users\currentuser<current_user>\AppData\Local\Apps\Fusion\2.or c:\%currentuser%\AppData\Local\0 or %localAppdata%\Apps\2.0

  • In the most recent Windows 10 revisions (usually 1909 and up) Windows Defender will block the install installation of Fusion. When the Windows Defender Window pops up stating that the install is unsafe, click More Info then Run Anyway. The install installation should proceed.

  • The install installation might also "fail" saying that the Microsoft POS plugin or .NET is already installed. These need to be installed before Fusion as stated in the instructions above. If you see this message, restart the computer and then run the Fusion installer again. Firefox is the recommended browser for running the Fusion installer
