  1. Completely power down your device, restart it and try the directions again.

  2. Use your device's Safari browser to attempt to connect to Outlook to Outlook Web App at outlook.com/mail.wvu.edu.

    If you are unable to see the Outlook Web App site prompting for your credentials, your device may not have a functional data connection. If that is the case, attempt to connect again from a location with a good data connection or contact your cellular carrier for assistance with your data connection.

    If you are able to see the Outlook Web App site asking you for your Login credentials, provide them and attempt to log in. If you are unable to log in, the problem may be with your account itself. In that case, please contact the IT Service Desk for assistance with your account.

  3. Temporarily disable cellular data on your device and connect to Wi-Fi. If you are on campus, please use the WVU.Encrypted network and go through the set up directions again. We have seen cases where a cellular data connection is not be able to make the initial connection to the Microsoft 365 system. Using Wi-Fi only may help complete the process. Be sure to turn your cellular data back on!
