How can I access my W-2 online?
You Current employees can access your their W-2 by logging into the WVU Portal and clicking the W2 Information link in the MyHR tab under Restricted Apps.
You will be prompted to sign in again. Enter your WVU Login username and password to login, not your email address.
You can print your W-2 at work. Please use secure print when printing your W-2.
Do not download and save copies of your W-2 form to your work computer.
Do not email your W-2 to yourself or anyone else. Tax documents contain personally identifiable and sensitive information. Transmitting this information via email violates WVU's Acceptable Use of Data Technology and Resources policy.
If you are trying to access your W-2 off-campus (ex: from home), then you need to access it through Remote VPN.

Research Corp employees will only receive a hard copy of W-2 via US Postal Service; they cannot access it from Portal. Only current WVU employees can access W-2 from Portal.
I am a former WVU employee. How do I get my W-2?
A hard copy of the W-2 is mailed to all employees via US Postal Service by January 31 as per IRS requirements. If you are a former employee and did not receive your W-2, email tax@mail.wvu.edu requesting a duplicate copy.
