Click the plus symbol in the Course Content tab.
Click Create.
Scroll In the Create Item menu, scroll to the Assessment area and choose Assignment.
In the upper left corner, click the edit icon and name the assignment.
In the Content and Settings region, click the plus sign.
Click Add text.
Assignment Content
In the Assignment Content box, enter the instructions for the assignment. You may enter the instructions using the following methods:
Type text to describe the assignment; you can format the text as necessary using the formatting tools.
Click within the text box, then click the link icon to enter a URL for instructions stored elsewhere.
Click within the text box; click the attachment icon (paper clip) to choose a file from your computer.

Content Market - list of third party vendors working with eCampus
Cloud Storage from Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox, or Box

Click within the text box; click the Insert Content icon (plus sign inside a circle) to insert content from various sources:
Click in the Instructions block. The tool bar appears. You can type the instructions, and/or add a link, attach a file or image, and activate other options by clicking the plus sign enclosed within the circle.

Allow class conversations, (enables a space for students to have discussions about the assessment or ask questions)

For example, for an oral presentation. If you check the box to collect the submissions offline, you will need to manually enter the grade.

Ignore the Presentation Options; these are for tests onlyCheck the box to indicate if this is a formative assignment; it will not automatically be excluded from Gradebook calculations.
Grading & Submissions
In the Grading & Submissions area,
Submission: Allows control over whether students are able to have access to their submissions after they complete an assessment.
Automated Question Feedback: Provide students with feedback that automatically releases based on chosen settings.
Question Scores: Allows students to see the test questions and their scores for each question.
- Correct Answers: Allows students to see the correct answers for each question
The default Grade category is Assignment. If necessary, click the dropdown to change the category.
One is the default number of Attempts allowed. If necessary, click the dropdown to change this to a different number or unlimited.
The default Grade using is Points. If necessary, change this to a different way to grade.
Enter the Maximum points given for the assignment.
Optionally, hide student names.
Optionally enable two graders per student.
Optionally, enable peer review.
Post grades immediately after you enter a grade.
