If you can’t open Word documents (particulary particularly .docx files) in eCampus, your browser may be set to try to open the files in the browser by default. This happens most commonly in Windows Microsoft Edge. To resolve this issue, try the following:

Click the Windows button, then click Settings.
...
Click Downloads.
...
Microsoft Edge.
Follow these steps if you can’t open Office documents in eCampus while using Microsoft Edge.
Open Microsoft Edge settings (by clicking on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner of the browser).
Select Settings.
Select Downloads.
Select the toggle switch to disable Open Office files in the Browser by turning it Off.
