Follow the steps below if you are experiencing a Zoom Application issue that requires a reinstall of Zoom. Visit Zoom Help Center for further assistance.

Steps for Windows Desktop Application

  1. Download and run the CleanZoom application.

  2. Once the CleanZoom application completes, restart the computer.

  3. Once completed, you can reinstall Zoom on the download center.

Steps for MacOS Application

  1. Open the Zoom desktop application.

  2. Click http://zoom.us  at the top of your screen and select Uninstall Zoom.

  3. Click OK to confirm uninstalling the Zoom desktop application and all of its components.

  4. Once completed, you can reinstall Zoom on our download center.

After uninstalling Zoom on MacOS, follow these steps to remove application and system folders

  1. Open Finder.

  2. Click Go at the top of your screen.

  3. Click Go to Folder...

  4. Once opened, input ~/.zoomus/

  5. Move ZoomOpener to your trash.

  6. Once completed, repeat steps 3 through 5 in the previous section (Steps for MacOs Application) for the following folders and files:

    • Folder: /Applications/ Move to Trash: zoom.us.app

    • Folder: ~/Applications/ Move to Trash: zoom.us.app

    • Folder: /System/Library/Extensions/ Move to Trash: ZoomAudioDevice.kext

    • Folder: ~/Library/Application\ Support/ Move to Trash: http://zoom.us

  7. Once completed, you can reinstall Zoom on the download center.

Note: Zoom may not be installed in both the /Applications and ~/Applications folders
