A student who is a parent, or collegiate athlete, or working full time, could listen to an audio version of lesson content during travel or doing other tasks. Those for whom English is a second language can also benefit from hearing the audio or seeing a written translation. Some students with different learning styles or reading challenges might absorb the content better if they can use a different font or page layout, or using markup to annotate. We are all different.
