If your instructor has included a menu link to the Send Email tool, or to the Tools page in the course menu, students can send an email to their classmates via MIX email from inside the eCampus course.
Log into eCampus, and enter your course.
Click on Send Email in the course menu.

You can also find the Send Email tool on the Tools page, if your instructor has provided that menu link instead. Click Tools.

Then click the Send Email icon on the Tools page to access the MIX email in eCampus tool.
On the Send Email page, specify the individuals or groups you would like to email by clicking a user group link (ex: All Users, All Student Users, Select Groups, or Select Users).
On the Email Information page, see that the Toand Fromfields will already be completed.
Enter a Subject for the email.
In the Message field, type your email message content; use the editing tools to style your content.
If desired, click Attach a file below the message field to choose a file to send to recipients.
Click Submit to send an email to the MIX accounts of the selected users or groups.

If the course menu inside your course does not have links to the Send Email tool, or to the Tools page, you can use the Blackboard Messages tool to send messages to your class inside eCampus. This message will be sent only inside the eCampus system and users must log into eCampus to see notification and view the message.
In the main eCampus navigation menu, click on Messages.

Select the course that you would like to send a message to. You will see the Course Messages page.
Click Create Message on the Course Messages page.
On the Compose Message page, click the To button to select recipients for the message.
You can also select users to receive a carbon copy (CC) or blind carbon copy (BCC) of this message.
Click individual users, or Select All users, then click the > right facing arrow to move the selected users to the Recipients column.
In the Compose Message section, enter a Subject line for this message. (required)
Type the content of your message in the Body field; use the editing tools to style your content.
Click Submit to send the message to your selected users in eCampus.
