  1. Log into mymountaineercard.wvu.edu using your WVU Login credentials. 

  2. Select Notification Preferences from the menu on the left side of the screen.

  3. Verify your Email is correct. If not, click the Edit icon to the right of the email address, enter the correct email, and click Save

  4. If you want to receive text message notifications, click the Add (+) button on the right to add your phone number.

    1. Enter your 10-digit phone number. This must be a mobile number. Land line Landline numbers and VoIP services, such as Google Voice, are not supported.

    2. Select your carrier from the drop-down list. Most major US carriers are supported, however, Canadian carriers are not supported at this time. If you do not see your carrier in the drop-down list, contact the IT Service Center.

    3. Click the Terms and Conditions link to review and check I agree to the CSNotify Terms and Conditions.

    4. Click Send Confirmation Code to have a one-time code sent to your mobile device.

    5. Enter the code that was sent in the provided box and click Confirm.

    6. The Status will change to Confirmed. Click Save to return to the main notification preference menu. 

  5. Once your contact information is configured, use the menu to select the method for each of the available notifications.

  6. The icons from left to right indicate No NotificationSMSEmail, and CBord (Mobile ID) App. 
    Note: If you select an option for Instant alerts or Daily alerts, all subsequent items will be set to the corresponding selection.

  7. Select Save at the bottom of the page.
