After you add content to the Content Collection, you must grant permission to make the content accessible to users and groups of users. You can allow students to view all files in the Content Collection or restrict certain files or folders.

Set Read Permissions for Students:
Enter a Course.
Select Content Collection under in the Course Management Control Panel.
Select the Course ID .Select the Course Content chevron(course name) to view the Content Collection for this course.
Click the drop-down chevron next to Course Content: Course Name at the top of the page.
Select Permissions.
Scroll Mouse over Select Specific Users By Place, then select Course.
Select the Course, Role (studentStudent) and Permissions (readRead).
Select SubmitClick Submit to set permissions for files in this course’s content collection.
Confirm Students have read access only to the content. If

Select the
File or Folder inFolder (or file) in your Content Collection that you do not want students to be able to access.

Select Permissions
Select the Student Read Permissions checkbox.
Check the box in the row for Student permissions [Course Name: Student (User List)].
Select Delete at the bottom of the list of user types.
