Instructors can set any Content Area (the Home Page, Announcements, Assignments, etc.) as their course entry point.

How to change the course entry point
In the Course Management menu, click Customization then Teaching Style.
Scroll down to the Select Course Entry Point section. Click the Entry Point drop down menu and select the Content Area students should see when they enter the course.
