If you can’t open Word documents (particulary particularly .docx files) in eCampus, your browser may be set to try to open the files in the browser by default. This happens most commonly in Windows Microsoft Edge. To resolve this issue, try the following:
Click In the Windows button, then click Settings.Click Edge browser, open the Settings menu (the three dots at the top right corner of the page).
Select Downloads.
Click Select the button toggle switch to disable Open Office Files in Browser.
