  1. Select Settings.

  2. Select Wireless & networks.

  3. Select Wi-Fi settings.

  4. Scroll down to the bottom and select Add Wi-Fi network.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Network SSID: WVU.Encrypted

    • Security: 802.1x EAP

    • EAP method: PEAP

    • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2

    • CA Certificate:

      • Android 8 and above users should select Do not authenticate from the CA Certificate drop-down menu. Otherwise, leave CA Certificate, User Certificate, and Anonymous Identity fields empty.

      • Android 11 users may be unable to select Do not Authenticate from the CA Certificate drop down menu and will have to choose Use system certificates. In this case, you will also have to enter http://wvu.edu as the domain in order to connect.

    • Identity: Your Login username

    • Password: Your Login password (if you do not remember your Login password, go to login.wvu.edu)

  6. Leave any Proxy entries empty or unchecked.

  7. If IP settings are available, leave DHCP selected (this should be the default setting).

  8. Save.
