WVU Login accounts are moving to a new platform, Okta, on June 1st 1, 2025 to create a true single-sign on experience and streamline access to services. Most faculty, staff and students won’t need to take any action until it’s time to change your current password.

For incoming students who have already claimed accounts before June 1, 2025, the experience should be seamless. Their usernames and passwords will be moved into Okta. If a student forgets their password and needs to change it, the self-service page currently at login.wvu.edu will redirect them to okta.wvu.edu.
