Endnote is the industry standard software tool for publishing and managing bibliographies, citations and references on Windows and Macs. For further help on installation issues contact the Contact your local desk-side support if you need assistance with installation. 

Licensing restrictions

By purchasing installing an Endnote license, you are agreeing to use this software for academic purposes. A single EndNote license grants the purchaser the right to install the software on their assigned WVU-owned computer, WVU-owned laptop, and a personal home computer. While EndNote may exist on these machines simultaneously, it may not be in use on more than one machine at a time for the user to be compliant with licensing terms.

Eligibility

Faculty  can purchase this software through WVU using WVU funding.Staff (Academic Researchers) can purchase this software through WVU using WVU fundingand staff (academic researchers) can download this software on WVU-owned computers.

Students cannot purchase this software through WVU, but can purchase it directly from Endnote.com or Thinkedu.com. Also, check out http://libguides.wvu.edu/EndNoteBasic  for Endnote Students can also use EndNote Basic, which is a free bibliography maker.

How to order

WVU Funds: Complete the SLIC Software Request Form if purchasing this with WVU funds. All licenses for WVU-owned computers need to be paid for with WVU funding. Once your order is submitted, SLIC will send you an invoice for your order along with instructions on how to make payment.

Personal Funds

Install EndNote

WVU-owned computers: Use the Software Center, Companty Portal or Self Service to download a license on your WVU-owned computer.

Pricing

Endnote Licenses are available from SLIC for $35. Licenses are annual subscriptions, expiring September 30 of each year. These licenses are prorated quarterly.
