ALEKS (Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces) is a math testing platform used to measure a student’s mathematical knowledge. ALEKS exam scores are used for math course placementsaccessed through ecampus.wvu.edu. All first-time freshman admits must take the ALEKS exam as part of their New Student Orientation (NSO), and exam scores are used for WVU math course placements.
