If you receive the same error after trying different accounts, delete and then recreate your Outlook profile: 

  1. Open the Start Menu and open the Control Panel. 

  2. Click User Accounts

  3. Click Mail

  3. Select Outlook, click Remove, then click OK

  4. Open Outlook to setup and recreate your account.
